Allergies on ships

Anyone ever report a problem with mold on the ships? Need to know about moldy carpeting or issues related to these allergies before I book a cruise. Has anyone heard about them?

I am also alergic to mold - and have sailed on the Monarch 5 times - never once have had a problem.

My husband and I cruise often and have terrible allergies to mold and other things. No problems on the ships.

My daughter has a rare disease that is triggered by mold and she sailed on the Explorer for 9 days with no problems.

I'm allergic to mold, and cruise extensively without any problem.

Maybe it's the salt-air that keeps molds in check!

Also have cruised many times with severe allergy to mold, also my husband and kids, with no problems! I will say, and please don't anybody flame me, that you may have a problem with tobacco smoke on Royal if you are allergic or sensitive to that.

Same as above! I am also allergic to mold and have not had a problem with mold or other allergies on board the ships!

I've never had allergies that I can feel onboard the ships, but we always notice our eyes being red in the morning onboard. Same thing happens at some hotels.
