missionblondie Posted June 30, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2012 Planning a transatlantic on the Eclipse in October and before I book the beverage package I just want to make sure I understand it correctly. If I purchase the PREMIUM PACKAGE (alcoholic) for $55.08 per night this will entitle me to: - all premium non-alcoholic drinks (specialty coffees, juices, vitamin waters, etc.) - all beers - all cocktails up to $12 each - all wine by the glass up to $12 each for the entire day, i.e. I will not need to pay for any drinks whatsoever. Does this also include wine by the glass in the MDR? What about in the specialty restaurants (should I choose to eat at them)? Thanks in advance. librarylady19 Posted July 1, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 1, 2012 Yes, includes wines by the glass in any bar or dining venue. The wine machines in Cellarmasters are not included however. You can also pay the difference for any drinks over $12, ie a $15 glass of wine will be $3. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
missionblondie Posted July 1, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted July 1, 2012 Excellent, thank you so much. I've just thought of one other question ~ what about room service, would this be covered as well then (ie, if I was to order a 'drink')?
marieps Posted July 1, 2012 #4 Share Posted July 1, 2012 You may want to wait to buy on board should you have any OBC, as it will be applied to the package. I have never tried using the pkg with roomservice, so I can't help you there. It certainly does not apply to the minibar.
librarylady19 Posted July 1, 2012 #5 Share Posted July 1, 2012 Excellent, thank you so much. I've just thought of one other question ~ what about room service, would this be covered as well then (ie, if I was to order a 'drink')? Room service is not covered. You could order a drink at one of the bars and take it back to your room if you wish.

Room service and minibar in your room are not covered. We spend more by buying the package, but we have more fun too!

isdoo Posted July 1, 2012 #8 Share Posted July 1, 2012 Above $12 it is the difference plus 15% tip. Your tip is included in the package price for all included drinks though.

The CC roll call thread is at: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1409754 The website is at: http://celebrityeclipsetransatlantic.shutterfly.com/ I hope that you'll stop by and join us. And don't forget to sign up for the CC Connections Party.
librarylady19 Posted July 1, 2012 #10 Share Posted July 1, 2012 There are several beers over $12 on the Michaels Club menu (some are 750 ml bottles so don't know if they consider that one drink or not).
