Weather In Aug or Sept in West Carbian

We are trying to plan a cruise to keywest and cusumel . I was woundering if they heracains season really bad in that area that time of year.

We went to the Western Caribbean a couple yrs. ago at the end of August and the weather was very nice. I think its either a hit or miss this time of year.

last august was when the string of heracains ;) hit florida. it's prime-time. best advice for cruising then is to not have your heart set on specific ports on specific days... and to be flexible in your planning.
