carlisle bay cost?? Confusion??

Sorry, I have read a bunch of things and maybe too much.....now just confused! How much is it these days for the beaches on carlisle bay. Is there just one entrance for the three beaches or are there separate entrances for each beach with their own beach charges. THANKS SO MUCH!

All beaches on Barbados are free. There is no charge to use the beach(s).

 

There is generally one, or more, public access areas for each stretch of beach, sometimes as close as a block apart.

so what is the 10 or 12.00pp charge where you get the drink and chairs and ride back to the beach that I have read about on the boards?.......Is this an optional thing??

Yes, that is optional and provided by the establishment(s) on the beach. It sounds like you are talking about Lobster Alive and The Boatyard. You are welcome to use the beach in front of these establishments for free, but use of their chairs/umbrellas, etc., has a price.

 

The nice part is that you can wander the beach and find a private vendor that may provide these items cheaper that the commercial establishments. ;)
