This reminds me of another one...in the casino somebody had left a slot machine and tilted the chair forward so nobody could sit there. Perhaps they left to go to the restroom. Well, a woman came, sat down and started playing. When the person returned, they threw a hissy fit, screaming, swearing and so forth. The woman who sat there said she was sorry so many times, said this was her first time gambling and didn't know that a tilted seat meant she shouldn't sit there, but to no avail. She ended up leaving the casino sobbing bitterly.
Both men. Rumor was that the wife disembarked willingly. The bartender told us that the ship has a strict non-violence policy.
Then why does it feel like they are sucker punching me in the back of the head when I get my bill on the last day? Pretty violent I must admit!

Sounds pretty rude to me! You know what else is rude? Rigging that iPad game so you are always just a little too high or a little too low to win. I hate that thing!
Wait. Hold on. My clients... are your clients? Impossible! They told me they were exclusive clients... that's why I went on this trip to begin with.
Now I remember you...you're the guy in front of me that caused a disturbance when he was told that the liquor he purchased in port had to be left with security during the remainder of the cruise. Of course you tried to play dumb and sneak past them anyways, and that's when the fun began.

Naaaa... They never chase you. "Sir, put this on the desk over there..."
"yeah, ok, sure, heading right towards the stairs big guy!" Why go through all the trouble of getting booze past the security guy at embarkation? He lives to ruin people's vacations... but the guy running the security while in port... he's a different story... he is ALWAYS on vacation... doesn't care if you bring a bottle back... no skin off his back.

Last week we came out of our room and across the hall you could here a mom chewing her teenage daughter up one side and down the other about where she'd been and such. Mon was pi$$ed and daughter was balling. A little earlier that day saw the teen saying by to a boy by the cabin door. On of the room stewards was in the hall cleaning and we gave each other a look like hole smokes. Not sure how long it lasted but we moved on.
Obviously that was his point in all his postings, that's why I said go and play somewhere else. I started the thread here, those were my clients and he is making a joke obviously and distorting what happened, but that's another thread right.

What's his name is obviously bored, so I'm just letting him have his fun, what the heck, it's Friday night, that's why I started a thread to begin with.
Not with cruisers, but this past January we witnessed two loud verbal altercations from staff. One time in the buffet with 4 staff arguing loud and angrily with each other. And another time in the hallway when we thought for sure the 2 were going to start fist acuffs. We actually steered our daughter the other way quickly.

We saw one on the Dream last year, while waiting for the main show, this man saved a whole row of seats for his whole fam of 4 and these two elderly men came in and sat in the row. One of the elderly men and the dad were going at it. This was right in front of us. My DH suggested we move, we stayed. So the dad ( he looked like a guido from NJ-yeh I'm a JS fan) and the old man were in each others faces. The elderly wives came, one with a walker and they both had to pull the elderly man away from that dad and they sat in the row behind us. The old man was making smart remarks the whole time until the show started. The dads fam finally came in, about 10 min after the show started, of course he was a disruption when trying to show his fam where he was.

On the Dis Wonder, for their Pirates in the Carribean party, all of the chairs were stacked up, but you could get some and place them around. I finally found some and got two for my DH and myself, this man came up to me saying he had all these chairs saved for his friends--no joke, there was like over 20 chairs. I told him I was taking two, I mean, they were for everyone, my DH and I were ready to sit down. My DH comes--mind you he was one who had been hitting the bar-and he was demanding the guy let go of the chairs. It began to get out of hand, I could sense I was about to burst into tears, so I just left the chairs and went back to our cabin and sat on the balcony. I am a hot head-I admit to same-and I didn't want to have a b*tch fit at sea as our boys like to call it. My DH was not very happy I left him.

I saw the video of the fight on the Dream in the club-I was very worried that is how all of CCL would be, I was glad to see I was wrong. The video in the club is scary!

I got into it pretty bad on with a guy on Allure of the Seas. My mom and I got to a show very early and grabbed some prime center seats. There were two little girls (around 10 years old) saving about 8 seats next to us. For the next 45 minutes they would run back and forth in the row stopping anyone from sitting there. At 10 till, they let the general people in line into the theatre and it became nuts.

side note- on Oasis and Allure you can reserve your shows. If you don't have a reservation you can line up outside. At 10 minutes before the show start they let these people in to grab any remaining seats.

So the people that had waited outside were filing in and everyone kept coming down the row to get these seats. I was beyond irritated at this point. Well the mother and father came in with a couple other people and finally sat down. However, there were still a couple empty seats they were saving. When yet another couple headed down the row to the seats the father stopped them, telling them that the seats were taken and the people had "gone to the bathroom" real quick.

Well, I kind of lost it and told the couple to take the seats, the guy was lying, nobody had been there and his girls had been saving the seats for nearly an hour. I am not at all afraid of speaking out when I get angry. So it turned ugly quick. The father starts in on me telling me to mind my own business and I just went off on him. It wasn't pretty. I really thought he was going to hit me. This went on for a bit and everyone around us was tense. I kind of felt bad about it all, but I get so tired of people and their self entitlement. Thankfully, Allure is so big I never saw the guy again.

How did the people respond that you told to go ahead and sit down? When the argument ensued, did they leave or just plop down?

I have watched most of the Carnival fight videos on youtube, and in them, you realize what a joke Carnival security is...if something dangerous is going on around your family, you had better be prepared to handle it yourself, because security is worse than rent a cops

On the Dream, we were sitting at a table on the Lido Deck. There were a bunch of teen boys sitting at the table next to us having a good time. All of a sudden a woman comes up to the table with a younger boy in tow. She starts yelling at the boys for not including the younger one in their group. One of the teens started saying that he didn't fit in and that they weren't going to include him. The mother went bonkers and started screaming at him. The teen picked up a plate of french fries and threw it at the younger one. Mom started swinging wildly, pounding on the teen's head. Within seconds security was pulling her off the kid. They were all escorted off the Lido deck.

We were the second family to get in line for tenders down on deck 3. It was taking a really long time for things to get started and the line grew and grew. People started to get in front of us and we got pushed farther back. Some were downright obnoxious fighting for spaces closer to the front. Lots of yelling and threatening. Then a staff member escorted our group to the front as we were platinum. Felt like we'd be tarred and feathered!

I called security on the cabin next to ours when there was a big fight going on with lots of things being thrown and stuff (people?) being thrown into the walls. It was horrible! It was just after that guy had gone overboard and blood was found on the lifeboat. Security came and all quieted down.

A lady was taken off the ship in handcuffs at debarkation once.
Did you get details about what happened?
yes i know the most of the details--- the FBI questioned the guests that had rooms around them.... one was a friend who was from another country and it was her first cruise, and another couple happened who be on our roll call and they both are police officers. Luckly all 5 of us were all together when this event happened on another part of the ship. Thier story about where they were was confirmed by the security cameras.

Lets just leave it at this, the hall way was blocked off from everyone while the ship crew completely gutted the room, after the FBI took whatever they took.
The people at guest services must have to pass a stoicism test because they are subjected to all kinds of verbal abuse and I have never seen any of them lose their cool.
I agree, they are incredible. The very nature of their job means almost every interaction they have with a customer is negative. I could not do that (at least without killing someone).

Some people can be so unreasonable it is literally unbelievable.
