??? about formal night on Elation.

Ok we are sailing on September 8th on the Elation and was just curious if a shirt tie and slacks were good enough for my hubby. I hate to go spend money on a suit or sportscoat when he will not wear it but maybe once a year or so. He has a nice suit but well it's too small now and hate to go buy another one..

there's no more formal night. It's elegant night. Slacks and a nice shirt is fine. Have a great cruise.

More than enough. There is no formal night on Carnival ya know?? Its now called elegant night and as long as he shows up in long pants with a nice shirt, its all good. Many men wouldnt have ties on.

Thanks.. This is my 12th cruise and we always just dress up for it so wasn't sure. We got married on the fantasy and he wore his suit but just couldn't remember...
