? about flight after Carnival Destiny cruise in San Juan

Hi: I will cruising on the 9/4-9/11 Carnival Destiny sailing. Will I be safe in making a 2:00 pm flight out of San Juan on 9/11? Am not sure how long disembarkation takes & how far the airport is from where the cruise ships dock. Thanks for any info! Tina

You should be just fine with a 2:00pm flight!! We had a 1:30pm out of San Juan and were at the airport 2 hours prior to that!

Yes, I agree you will be fine with the 2pm flight. You will be on the last sailing before Destiny goes into drydock, so the crew wont have to worry about new passengers boarding the ship.

 

I have seen people make 9:30am flights. Have a great cruise

We jsut got back on Sunday and we had a 1:15 flight you will be there in PLENTY of time We were off the ship by 9:15 cleared customs and were at the airport by 10:30!! We also had friends that had a 3:30 flight and we met up with them at the airport by noon
