If you're using Flickr. This might save you a lot of trouble and frustration. I finally found it after a lot of frustration!

 

Get a direct URL to it

 

1. Click a photo to open it.
   
2. Click the Download icon .
   
3. Click View all sizes.
   
4. Click on the size you want to see.
   
5. Right-click the image.
   
6. Select Copy Image Location or Copy Image URL (text may vary per browser)

I used to use the app to load pictures. Since they got rid of the app does anyone know how to load pictures now?

Use the paperclip at the bottom of the page.  Either drag a picture over or choose a file.

Super easy now.

So does this mean we no longer need an external host for our photos? (Like Photobucket) And that cruise critic will host them here and we can embed them into our trip reports?

It says max total storage on CC is 48.83MB. Enough for 2 images...

Unless of course if I compress the files and reduce the dimensions.

I tried to drag-and-drop a tif image, it uploaded as a file & link; someone could have downloaded the image but it wouldn't open onscreen within CC.

A smaller jpg file does load directly.

How do you post pictures, do I still need to have on Photo Bucket or other shared sites or can I copy & past one off my computer.

I used the paper clip and  "choose files" at the bottom of the window to post this one. We'll see how it works...
