Hello: family of four looking for cheap 2-night cruise from anywhere in Florida in July. Found SS Ocean Breeze out of Fort Lauderdale to Bahamas for 179 US on the web. I won't be booking until last minute (i.e. 2 weeks prior or less), but was wondering if anyone has been on this, or if anyone has any info on it? Is it a good deal? Thanks in advance

I believe that ship has to be 50 or 60 years old? As such, I would be leary about taking a cruise on such an old vessel that is not owned and maintained by a major cruise line. There is an old saying that you get what you pay for!

I would think twice before booking this ship. It's been known to be very poorly maintained and food is no better than the worst cafeteria food you can imagine. As the other poster said, you will get what you paid for, which is nothing.
