Vacationoholic Posted October 4, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2012 Going on the carnival freedom and my boyfriend wanted to bring cigars. We are not getting a balcony and he is not going to smoke in the room. Is he able to smoke on the outside decks? If he can smoke inside the ship where? big_duck Posted October 4, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 4, 2012 Cigar smoking is permitted on the outside decks starboard side. It is also permitted in the Jazz club on the Promenade deck aft ( the name escapes me ).
Cigar Dude Posted October 4, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 4, 2012 Cigar smoking is permitted on the outside decks starboard side. It is also permitted in the Jazz club on the Promenade deck aft ( the name escapes me ). Also, great idea to bring your own as they are high on the ship and the variety is very limited. Depending on your stops you may be able to sample some legitimate Cuban cigars. Only visit official La Casa del Habano's when traveling in the Caribbean. There are fakes EVERYWHERE so you want to make sure you're getting the real deal. You will at the La Casa del Habano.

jaydubya Posted October 4, 2012 #7 Share Posted October 4, 2012 Swingtime Jazz Bar, Deck 5 aft. I'm bringing my own sticks and my own jazz music courtesy of my MP3 player. The last "jazz" bar I was in had a woman playing semi-oldie pop tunes on piano.
