Bewer Posted October 6, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 6, 2012 We will be docking in Pireus in early November. Husband and I have been to Athens before and this cruise we are travelling with my parents who (whilst still fit) are both 80. They do not want to rush around doing heavy sightseeing but are happy to wander, stop for coffee, people watch etc. I've tried to find something gentle for Pireus rather than travelling into Athens with little success. I did read something about a little road train but I do not know where it goes from or where it goes to. Can anyone help specifically with the road train but also more generally about Pireus itself. sentosa25 Posted October 6, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 6, 2012 When you come off the ship and walk through the dock, you come to a road. Both the red and yellow Hop on Hop off buses leave from here. The little train that I think you are talking about was sitting there as well. Not sure what their timetable is, but we were on the bus just before 9am and it left a few minutes later. Hope that helps. Anne
