Private Catering Menu Questions

When we were on the Marina last February we were given a card showing charges for private catering, inluding charges for cocktail parties. We did not have such a party, but are wondering whether the cocktail party charges (which seem to be per guest and per hour) include a bartender, and also whether the charge per guest will include us (the hosts).

In the Owners Suites, where there is a dedicated bar in the "music room" a bartender is a fairly common occurrence.

In the other Suites which are of a size that larger parties are feasible, the services of a Butler are already provided.

In most cases, that Butler would also act as your bartender and primary server.

Should the number of guests exceed the Butler's capacity, others will fill in, and for larger groups a bartender will be assigned.

Parties which are held in the Lounges are served from the nearest service bar, by a waiter or waitress who will be assigned to your event.

The host and/or hostess are counted as "guests" for costing purposes.

Hope that this helped-

Enjoy your cruise, and your Party should you decide to have one !

Hi - we had a private party for my birthday. Well actually it was pre-dinner nibbles and cocktails and yes, we paid for an exact number of people including us. Our butler set up the room, bought glasses, bottle chillers etc and left us to it after he bought the food. I'm sure he would have helped had we asked.

We only paid for one lot of nibbles and he bought extra "freebies" from somewhere else. We ended up with cheeses, nuts etc and all sorts as well as the food we paid for. It was well worth it!!
