Rare pierces Posted October 12, 2012 #26 Share Posted October 12, 2012 Good work. Remember to try and use lithium batteries or top quality batteries in it. I have had great luck with Sanyo Eneloop NIMH/Lithium hybrids. They hold a charge for a very long time when not in use. At about $18 for an 4-pack with charger vs. $7 for 4 disposable Lithium AAs, the cost difference gets eaten up in about 3 recharges (only one if yu already have a charger). I may try those. I have a couple sets of Energizer rechargeables, but I haven't had great luck with them lasting.
MonaCK Posted October 13, 2012 #28 Share Posted October 13, 2012 I just won a 430 on Ebay...saved a decent chunk of change over what it would have cost on Amazon, especially now that I have to pay sales tax. I'll let you know what I think when I get it! Heh. Now that I've paid off my paypal credit card from my 18-200 sigma (also bought on ebay - was only $299 which is $200 less than retail), now I am looking to see about getting a flash. One thing I'm learning about photography... i don't think I'll ever be satisfied completely with what's in my bag. ;)
