angelndscz Posted October 9, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 9, 2012 No, mine did not last the whole time. First you have to get it at least 2 days before you leave. Mine started fading on day 1 of my cruise. When they fade, they can become spotty. I took some self tanning lotion and applied throughout the cruise. cb at sea Posted October 9, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 9, 2012 Spray tans are affected by both chlorine and salt water. After a few dips, you will get splotchy...and around "wrinkly" areas (ankles, wrists, knee, etc...) it can start to look dirty.
meggie711 Posted October 9, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 9, 2012 I have also found that there's a big difference between going into a booth to be sprayed by a machine and being sprayed by a person. I had a great experience when I had mine done, as it was sprayed evenly in all areas, where the booth can tend to be hit and miss.
klauer Posted October 9, 2012 #6 Share Posted October 9, 2012 You don't need to get a spray tan two days before you leave. I've gotten a spray tan in the morning before leaving for vacation in the afternoon. Don't scrub your arms and legs in the shower (just rinse) and you certainly should be able to keep your tan for four days.
