td33boys Posted October 17, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 17, 2012 This is my first time on the Oasis and I am departing this Saturday. People in our group are wondering if irons are provided anywhere on the ship? I know about the ship's pressing service, but is there a laundry room that provides an iron like many other cruise ships? Thanks

negc Posted October 17, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 17, 2012 And in case they are wondering, they should be told that they won't be allowed to bring an iron onboard with them. There are a number of alternatives available to reduce or eliminate any wrinkles. :)

leaveitallbehind Posted October 17, 2012 #8 Share Posted October 17, 2012 my inlaws had a little travel iron packed (told them not too) and they found it in their luggage RCI considers them a fire hazard - and they x-ray the luggage so it would be spotted. Donray Posted October 17, 2012 #9 Share Posted October 17, 2012 What is it with woman and irons? Maybe women need a cruise that allows them to iron two or three hours a day to get it out of there systems. Big ironing deck parties. And, this is a woman thing.
