No way I'd pay $25 corkage fee on my $6 bottle!!!! That's insane! I'll stick to real liquor or beer!

$25 is about standard for restaurants around here. and now my $60 bottle of Marinus just became an $85 dollar one( and ya know what.. STILL WORTH IT!!!)

.. except we will most likely have it in our cabin as we have a lovely travel wine case that comes with a corkscrew and glasses.

Oh happy happy joy joy.. it was one thing I wished Royal would have allowed and now they do!

OK... I'll stick my neck out there....

It will be nice if they followed Celebrity's lead on the whole balcony smoking policy too.... It'd be nice to relax out there with a glass of wine smoke-free! ;)

we can dream, Jayfo! maybe some day soon... ;)

FANTASTIC!

Note to RCI....I'm still buying the wine package like I do every cruise. I just don't have to sneak the box wine on now for the stateroom!!!

RCI hasn't lost anything on us - just made it nicer to cruise. Thank you. :D

Yay! This is a change for the better.

I wonder if this will mean that their rule on ship purchased liquor will also change to reflect Celebrity's rules? Celebrity allows you to buy a bottle in their duty free shop and take it back to your cabin too. Now that would be really nice. :D

2 bottles per cabin.

I am trying to confirm where you put the bottles. One guy told me in the big bags, but that does not make sense to me. How do they keep control on two bottles per cabin?

Hmm..... this is interesting! You would think they could update the website if it went into effect today. But I just checked, and it's not updated.

Someone wrote that it was 2 bottles per cabin. So I guess a single cruiser (which I will be in December!!) would still be able to bring on two bottles???

Guess I'll have to wait until something "official" is posted to see.
