Usually a delay like that is not the cruiselines fault.

Whenever we do a TA going to the States we always spend a night in a hotel before that long flight home.

Didn't even read on CC boards about this. However, fortunately for us we changed our original 12 midday flight to 5.30 in order to have a brief tour of New Orleans before returning home. So although we didn't clear the terminal 'till about 11.30 there was still time for this. A lot of people we spoke to though must have missed flights and the tour arranged by the ship must have been cancelled. By the way, the cruise was great and so was Navigator. Only criticizm was the entertainment nowhere near as good as our previous cruise on Norwegian Gem in January, apart from the ice show which was brilliant. Would be curious to hear how people fared on their disembarkation.
Topo Gigio Posted November 20, 2012 #5 Share Posted November 20, 2012 Just came back yesterday from a (FANTASTIC) TA cruise on the Mariner and by 07:10 they were calling the first guests to disembark the ship!

I would ordinarily expect a longer wait for a TA after reading reports on here. She departed New Orleans over an hour late. Any other comments on the Navigator besides getting off in New Orleans?
