Thanks for posting this! We weren't going to get off the ship but maybe we will have to visit margaritaville!

My pleasure!

 

Bit pricey as any touristic spot but it's pretty convenient located (short shuttle or taxi ride from the Pier) and can be fun too!

I don't know if I just over looked it, but do you remember the name of the tour company you used? I would like to see if I could make contact with them prior to setting sail on my cruise.

 

As mentioned up front, we had the girl at the Information Desk by the Pier calling in whomever was available at the time

(after we told her what we wanted to do for the day).

I believe that the company's name is listed on the VAN that we used

(check out the post @ Margaritaville as we're leaving the parking lot)

and Marie was their local rep (the person we negotiated the rates with before we actually got into the van in Mo-Bay, by the Pier).

Did you by any chance notice a taxi stand or sign that stated prices? I'm thinking of a quick ride to Margaritaville with my ds.

Thank you for posting on both threads.

Prices to Margaritaville are reasonable - it's a short 10 minutes ride, so under 10 bucks.

There is also a shuttle that runs there (and back to the Pier) frequently... even more cheaper (can't recall exactly the fare)!

Enjoy Jamaica! It's a FUN place!

Check out the ones from New Orleans when they started the cruise! Can barely see the photos were taking through the glass windows by the pool!!

Admired a beautiful SUNSET as we were sailing along the Mississippi River and then headed back to the cabin

to get ready for the late seating casual dinner (in the Monet Restaurant' date=' starting 8:15PM):[/size']

Wow Wow Wow! Thank you so much for your incredible photo journal! I totally enjoyed it and then shared with with a group of 16 or so of us that plan on sailing the Conquest in September this year (2013). We all considered the raft trip but I think will be doing Dunn's River Falls instead.

 

BTW, did you notice the misspelling on tattooed girl's shoulder? :eek:

That would have driven me crazy to be on there for all time...wonder if she knows since it's on her back! LOL Well, it gave me a good laugh anyways! :p
