And it will charge both of our Nooks via usb at the same time. The reviews out on amazon say different but we haven't had an issue. It has never been on a cruise though... i have heard thay it may be not alllowed and taken when we board. True or not true?

Giffer Posted January 10, 2013 #57 Share Posted January 10, 2013 We usually also pack two or three tide pods in a zip lock bag. You never want to do laundry on the ship ($3 wash and $3 dry) but if you have to, you don't have to buy their $2 mini box of no name detergent. We also usually have a small travel size container of Woolite that we can use in the sink.
LKYGSR Posted January 10, 2013 #58 Share Posted January 10, 2013 Of all the "extra crap" DW packed on our last cruise, these are the ones I found most useful, could have gone without the rest of it, lol. Super Glue (broken sunglasses repair) Small folding binoculars (on the balcony, used them every day) Collapsoable Ice Chest (Cold beer in the cabin) Pen and Paper (Notes to Steward) Have fun! Shaded Lady Posted February 18, 2014 #61 Share Posted February 18, 2014 ginger pills- you can get them where they sell vitamins and other supplements. Great for seasickness, but I also find they help if you overindulge- either at the buffet or the bar!

Gypsydrifting Posted February 18, 2014 #64 Share Posted February 18, 2014 A small bottle of baby powder. Sprinkle it on your sand covered skin and the sand wipes right off. Much easier than trying to wipe it off with a towel. Sent from my VS870 4G using Xparent Pink Tapatalk

sacnaillady Posted February 18, 2014 #66 Share Posted February 18, 2014 Your list could go on and on...I started to bring all this stuff on my New Years cruise and didn't. A few this I didn't bring and could have kicked myself were- The 3 to 4 outlet! There are only 1 to 2 plugs and my husband and I fought over them. The highlighter Post it's Other indispensables were- Little tea lights for bathroom night lights Lanyard for your sign and sail card. You can get one at the casino for free but both mine and my husband broke before the end of the trip. I'm going to get a pretty one at Walmart this time. Dramamine just in case. Cheap watch to put on your beach bag or purse with ships time so you never miss the ship.
R3DP0 Posted February 18, 2014 #67 Share Posted February 18, 2014 (edited) My must bring is a small nightlight for the bathroom (and/or for an interior room). There is nothing worse than waking up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and turning on the light. debnrick Posted February 18, 2014 #69 Share Posted February 18, 2014 I always bring a small plastic liquid soap pump bottle to keep in the bathroom next to the sink. Real handy for keeping those germs off of your hands. Bar soap is just too messy. Also bring large black trash bags for dirty laundry. We keep it in the bottom of the closet and add dirty clothes as we take them off. When it's time to pack up, we just put the loaded black bag in the luggage. When I get home, I take the bag straight in to the laundry room. No muss no fuss. I also bring a pack of wipes (like baby wipes) to take to the beaches. Seems like your hands always need cleaning.
