Kudos to Carnival

from a confirmed NCL cheerleader. We returned yesterday on the Carnival Miracle. Had a great time. The cabins were excellent. The Food was good(subjective). Didn't like the main dining room decor(individual taste). the shows were good. The children program for under 6 was fair-not enough room for enough activity. getting on was easy. getting off was ok. Great weather. well run.

I wish they would heat the pools.

I wish they had a separate area in the buffet for the kids with kid food.

We ate at Nick's and Nora's one night with the grand kids.

They love room service(room service was fast with limited choices). I won a little at the Casino..

we booked another one for next year on board.

They can heat the pools. Surprised they didn't. When we were on the Miracle, they heated only the aft pool. And when we were on the Pride, they heated the bandstand pool.

Does any cruise line heat the pools other then the hot tubs???

Great you had a nice time....

The Solarium Pool on Jewel of the Seas was heated, in addition to having the roof closed... very warm, tropical even though it was winter. :)

Glad you had a good time! I'll soon be on my first Carnival cruise after 2 NCL. I have an NCL booked for 2014 but that could change if love my Feb. cruise. I do have an NCL future cruise credit that I need to use before 2016 though so that does come into play.

I have seen heated pools on Spirit class ships as well. Wonder if all can do that or that class (different builder).

Isn't the aft pool adults only on the Miracle?
It is indeed adult only. I have a similar gripe about Carnival Glory - the aft pool is the only covered pool, but it's adult only. That means that if you do a Canada cruise with lousy, cool weather, the kids don't get to swim. Glad you had a good cruise, though. And I completely agree about the dining room....
