Renting a Mini Moke

We are very interested in renting a Mini Moke for the day. I have read about them on the car rental website:

My quesitons are:
1. Are they safe, is it safe to drive around in Barbados (I know that any place isn't 100% safe), but some islands are much safer than others.
2. Has anyone rented a mini moke, and what was your experience?

DO IT! My wife and I rented a Mini Moke on our honeymoon (last June) and had the time of our lives! Yes, it is safe to drive it (most of the cars are small, and you can't go too fast because the roads aren't very big and none of them are straight. Make sure you get to the other side of the island to see Bathsheba. It is absolutely beautiful. In fact, there was a long write-up on Barbados in a recent Islands magazine. Happened to see it in the airport about 3 weeks ago, and it talks about alot of the things we remembered seeing during our "Mini-Moke tour." Unforgettable.
