SouthernSoprano Posted January 22, 2013 #26 Share Posted January 22, 2013 I would've passed too!
qbanrican84 Posted January 22, 2013 #27 Share Posted January 22, 2013 For a four day cruise on the Esctasy. Prob not worth the extra $$$. But don't judge cruising by this trip because it is an old and small ship. But enjoy your time away I agree, maybe if it were a longer cruise I would've said go for it. But not on a 4 day. You're still going to be on a balcony, so just enjoy it and spend the money elsewhere on the ship! ;) Hubby and I chose a balcony for our first cruise on RCCL Freedom of the Seas and never have sailed with anything else, you're right you will get spoiled lol
Crusin Kelly Posted January 22, 2013 #28 Share Posted January 22, 2013 I too would pass... $95 per day for really nothing.
eng4 Posted January 22, 2013 #29 Share Posted January 22, 2013 Anyoone have a pic of a grand suite? i dont even know the differance, we've only been on one cruise with a basic balcony.
ibcnusoon Posted January 22, 2013 #30 Share Posted January 22, 2013 On a 4 day on a Fantasy class ship, you made the right decision. I agree. At almost $100 a day extra, it is not worth it. Suites aren't that grand on Carnival.
SoCalKJ Posted January 24, 2013 #31 Share Posted January 24, 2013 Anyoone have a pic of a grand suite? i dont even know the differance, we've only been on one cruise with a basic balcony. A couple of U111 on the Ecstasy: Dingbat here forgot to take pics of the balcony and the bathroom. Grand Suites have whirlpool tubs. Balcony is nothing special. n6uqqq Posted January 24, 2013 #32 Share Posted January 24, 2013 Fantasy class ships have regular balcony rooms???
n6uqqq Posted January 24, 2013 #33 Share Posted January 24, 2013 I guess some of the fantasy class ships have a few balconies. The Paradise does not have any. Are the balconies a later addition?
