Dubrovnik harbor cruises?

Hello,

 

I was hoping someone could tell me whether they have taken, or have heard, if there are cruises along the harbor. Silhouette has the following excursion in May:Riviera Cruise & Old Town Highlights with Cable Car

 

"Begin your scenic seaside cruise along the Lapad Peninsula past impressive city ramparts. Upon reaching the Dubrovnik Old Town

Harbor, discover its most famous street, the Stradun....

you'll have free time in the Old Town....

followed by lunch in one of Dubrovnik’s charming restaurants.

Then, continue by bus toward the cable car station in the vicinity of the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Proceed by cable car to a

panoramic viewpoint over Dubrovnik and the surrounding Srd hill..."

 

we would prefer to try and do a cruise and the cable car on own own but don't know if this is feasible. Any advice would be appreciated.

during 4 day pre cruise stay..Very easy.In main port area(in town) are lots of small cruise tours(can also ask at your hotel).We just picked one that was open when there and it was very nice.Same for cable car.Can simply walk from town ,check times online,etc. and buy ticket .No problems at all and cheaper than tours.Very easy city to get around on own...and LOVELY,of course.;)

You will be cruising into Dubrovnik and walking around the old city walls. You may want to forego a harbour cruise. Dubrovnik is very, very easy to see on your own.

I think you are both right; we'll probably not book an excursion and do ourselves.
