hooforce Posted January 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2013 I booked an inside stateroom (I chose the room) under the Early Saver pricing for a cruise in April 2013 for $509 (before taxes/fees). I went to the Carnival website today to see if the price had dropped and today the best price is $499 (before taxes/fees), but that rate is for an Inside Guarantee. Am I still entitled to compensation (either a credit or something else) even if I didn't originally book an Inside Guarantee? Anyone with any experience with this, please let me know what my options are, if any. Thanks!

If you booked before December then Carnival says yes you can price match but remember you will switch to a guarantee room if Carnival is good on their word. Okay. That's what I thought, but wanted to make sure. The Inside Guarantee would be a downgrade to me since I like where our room is now. It's only $10, so no biggie, but just thought I'd ask for others who also might be in my situation. Thanks!
