canary1902 Posted January 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2013 We are a party of 15 on the March 3rd cruise on the Millenium. Can anyone tell how many the largest table will seat in the MDR. We would all like to be together for the evening meal. Many Thanks
mpbmark Posted January 25, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2013 We had a 10 top on the last cruise. About 3/4 way down on the left side. I suppose another table could be placed close by if requested. Note, we had select dining but I don't know if that matters.

Many Thanks We are 12 on the Eclipse in June and we are getting 2 x 6 tops (close together) and rotate seating each night. We had a 10 top on the Infinity and although it was nice sitting together we couldn't hear or join in to the conversation at the other end of the table. You could get 2 8 tops. d4m Posted January 25, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 25, 2013 You could get 2 8 tops. That's what they did on Equinox when there was a family group of 15. Those folks also changed tables nightly but were with the same waiter/assistant.
If only Posted January 25, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 25, 2013 We are a party of 15 on the March 3rd cruise on the Millenium. Can anyone tell how many the largest table will seat in the MDR. We would all like to be together for the evening meal. Many Thanks We had a table of 12 last April & if we were to do it again we would do 2 tables of 6. As you can only have a conversation with people across from you & beside you. Plus it is hard for your waiter to serve a large table (12) at one time. If I were you I would go for dine around & 2 tables of 8. You would have to pay your gratuities ahead of time.
canary1902 Posted January 26, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted January 26, 2013 Thank you all so much for your replys. Two tables of eight seem to be the best idea. Regards Susan
Rare uktog Posted January 26, 2013 #7 Share Posted January 26, 2013 Would look even at 3x5. Even on tables of 8 you can get service issues, my experience, 6 is ideal over that you are really dependent on the skills of the waiter and the wine waiter and it can be hit or miss
