Canceled cruise refund

If you booked directly with Carnival, they will issue the credit in a manner of 3 to 5 business days.

On the other hand, the policies of your financial institution could be up to 30 to 90 days to post the credit.

Best case scenario ,,,,, a week or two.

The hold up isn't Carnival but your CC company.

I've only used a credit card and have had refunds credited back less than 1 week afterwards.

Keep in mind if you cancel after 3 pm on a Friday that the refund will not begin processing until the next business day which would be Monday, unless that Monday falls on a banking holiday.

When they say 3 to 5 days that is business days and does not account for after 3 pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday and all banking holidays.

I think that's what throws many people off when trying to calculate days for processing.
