Anyone go to ice museum

Been to St. Thomas many times. Has anyone done the ice museum. If so, how long did it take you to see it? RCCL says 3 1/2 hours including R/T transport for $44. Seems like a long time. Is it cheaper to pay transport myself and entry fee? Thanks.

Take a 10 min taxi downtown (or walk) and go yourself, we went through it a few weeks ago while staying on St Thomas and enjoyed it, $20pp, we spent about 1/2 hr inside. You get a free shot and the gent will take pics for you. Pretty neat!

I went in December - and I agree that it is more economical to do it yourself - If you wear flip flops, throw some little socks in your purse - I was the only one in our group that did this, and the other girls couldn't get out of there fast enough because their toes were frozen!!

They do provide coats and socks and leg warmers and mittens, and these are all drycleaned after every use. Yes, it does get cold after about 15 minutes if you don't use all of these coverings!:eek:
