Close to where Princess picks you up the day of the cruise to get you to the pier in Whittier.

The Captain Cook hotel is fantastic. We had a nice view from our room too. It is a hotel that Princess uses. We gave the hotel managment like $5 each to let us put our luggage in the pile with others that were staying who booked the hotel through Princess. We walked maybe 2 blocks to the convention center where you get the shuttle to Whittier. We used the Princess shuttle for this. Very easy to do.
