Lisaanne Posted April 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2004 I have read about many great day sails but no one is listing prices. Does anyone have them? They are not listed on the indivual company's sites, so what did you pay and when? MandyGirl Posted April 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2004 If you are considering the Adventurer or Calypso (leave out of the Westin Resort on St John), their website lists prices for the various daysails. Ex: Daysail to Jost Van Dyke (including snorkeling stops) http://www.adventurervi.com/foxy.html "$100 per person plus $20 BVI Customs Fee Lunch is at your leisure ($8 to $10) Proof of citizenship required- valid passport , birth certificate (no photo copies) and photo ID" We have used them twice: once while on a land vacation 11/2002 and again for our wedding reception while at a port stop for a cruise 03/2003 (we chartered it for the reception) I highly recommend them - great catamarans (Adventurer and Calypso) and fantastic crew!!! Lucky Irish Posted April 6, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 6, 2004 We just got home from St. Thomas and charted two dail sail yachts. The Winifred and the Alaunt. The cost was 110.00 per person CASH or 120.00 per person credit. I would highly recommend either of these charters! they were a highlight of our trip. this does not include a 100.00 tip for each charter. sunsi Posted July 1, 2006 #6 Share Posted July 1, 2006 Or another good one that'll pick you up right at the cruise ship dock is Jollymon. They are anchored right there in the harbor by the ships. Their prices are on their site, www.jollymonstthomas.com. Check it out...
momofslg Posted July 1, 2006 #7 Share Posted July 1, 2006 I'd look into Rumbaba Charters. The reviews are awesome, only 6 on board, top shelf liquor, excellent food . www.rumbabacharters.com the cost is 115pp cash , 125pp credit. Capt Bobby was very quick to respond to e-mails and even called me to reserve (I was having computer problems and didn't trust giving out my cc# over the internet with these probs.) ~Lisa
erniesband Posted July 2, 2006 #8 Share Posted July 2, 2006 We had a great day with Captain Kathleen, on High Pockets. I believe the cash price for the day was $110/per person not counting tip and cab fare. She sails out of Red Hook, as do many of the charters. A good site for looking at the daysail options is http://www.vinow.com/stthomas/SandL/charters.php.
sunshine3360 Posted July 4, 2006 #9 Share Posted July 4, 2006 We did the Winefred two years ago and it was great. We hardly ever book with the ship. Only when our time in port is very limited and odd.
