thecruisers723 Posted March 13, 2013 #26 Share Posted March 13, 2013 are the lines at the border any different on a weekday (we are driving from vancouver to seattle on a tuesday)?
cruising cockroach Posted March 13, 2013 #27 Share Posted March 13, 2013 Generally better but hard to predict. There's the early morning rush of commuters (e.g., Point Roberts to Bellingham) and then it backs off but there may be some shoppers that come in after 0900. Allow at least 2 hours. Tiring to surprise her for 25th anniversary maybe messed up my thinking I am usually more in plan. LOL I drove down two Tuesday's ago and it was an hour in the AM. Summer could be worse. I was surprised it was that long on a weekday.
Kamloops50 Posted March 24, 2013 #29 Share Posted March 24, 2013 Does someone have any ideas on this? Post cruise we booked a flight out of Seattle because it was $700 less than Vancouver, how do we get there? We just found out from Princess that our flight leaving Seattle at 2:20 is to early for there transportation. Any thoughts? Thank you Mike A 2:20PM flight could be a problem . If the slightest thing goes wrong you might miss your flight . You don't say which ship you arrive on. Assuming it arrives at 7:30am . The earliest to start disembarkation is 8AM. If you self disembark you'll be clear by 8:30AM. Quick shuttle leaves at 9am arriving at SeaTac around 1:30pm. If you miss that shuttle the next one leave 9:15 and arrives at Sea Tac at 14:30 . If the ship is even 30 minutes late you won't make your flight . Book a later flight or even the next day.
