Smoking on Cunard ships

While we are talking about smoking policy on Cunard ships -- I thought that the Brits here may be interested in this :) http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2013/mar/05/government-legislate-plain-cigarette-packaging

 

They won't really go very well with the "Tuxedo" image of Formal nights.

Ho hum, I see that "Ministers acknowledge that the ban is likely to be difficult for the police to enforce, but they believe peer group pressure will have an impact similar to the ban on drivers using mobile phones".

It is working quite well here -- these packets are the only ones that the retailers can buy to sell in the retail market. Don't know what impact it is having upon the purchasers/smokers though

I think they made a huge error putting different images on the packets. I can see them becoming collectable items just like Pokemon cards.

Do the cases come in elegant casual, semi-formal and formal styles? Smoking is bad enough, but violating the dress code...:eek:

Barry - in my line of business I see similar (and very much worse) images every single day. They bother me not one bit.
