Been There, Planning That Posted March 8, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 8, 2013 I'm posting on the off chance that an 'expert golden oldie' might be able to help. We sailed from Vancouver to Australia in August 1966 aboard the Oriana. The old Orient line was taken over by P&O that year. This is a really long shot, but I'm wondering if I could get cruise credit. I came upon the TA's booking recently. We've cruised Princess and it would be nice to be able to add these days to our credit. We'd need a Princess address I guess to get the definitive answer. Any help from 'mature and expert' sailors would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Ruth
Pam in CA Posted March 8, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 8, 2013 Call Princess. Those days will be added to your Princess Captain's Circle benefits.

Been There, Planning That Posted March 8, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted March 8, 2013 Well I called and my 'piece of paper' is inadequate. And our passport stamp of course doesn't indicate the ship. The ship is not mentioned on the old TA receipt. I even went to archival sites and cannot find any ship manifest for that year. It was a nice thought as I remember it as a cruise of about 3 weeks. And our pictures are just aboard a ship -- could be any 'darn' ship railings. But do we ever look young! I appreciate your common sense advice which I hadn't considered. But really all this proof might do is help us earn a minute or two of free internet time. Ruth
