Honeymoon Questions/IC Ambassador

Hi All,

 

First time PG cruiser and first cruise for my fiance. We are going on 7 days in July can't wait!:D

 

Any recommendations? tips? Although I'm usually researcher kinda busy now with wedding plans. :rolleyes:

 

Also does anyone have experinece getting or not getting the upgrade at Intercontinental, when the bought the IC Ambassador card? We are booked for a lagoon view three nights in Tahiti, heard it wasn't worth the almost $1000 PG was charging, at this specific location.

 

Please give me feedback. So many experienced people!

I have ambassador status and have ALWAYS received upgrades at ever IC hotel I have ever stayed at. The Tahiti IC is very liberal with upgrades. I have always booked the CHEAPEST room and have either gotten a Panorama view room or motu bungalow or last year - the KING Suite overwater bungalow - yes I got the most expensive bungalow at the resort.

Consider the precruise on Moorea instead. 30 minute ferry ride away for $30.
