CHECK YOUR CRUISE RATES!!!!

I just received an additional $680.00 in OBC due a price adjustment from the Friends and Family sale going on right now! I saw the sale advertised and made a faux reservation only to find out there was a BIG difference.

After filling out my OBC request form I received an automated email saying that I would here something within 7-days. Two hours later I had the OBC added to my account - INCREDIBLE!!!!

Were you originally booked in an early saver??

I saw the sale this morning and called and they said no I could not get an upgrade or an OBC :(

If you are before final payment or if you are booked ES and after final payment you should be able to get the deal.

OP...congrats! Unfortunately it is only on bookings until Aug. so doesn't do me any good.:(

We went from 1 inside cabin last week( Friday)..Now after the last 2 sales last 3 days got a extra cabin so 2 cabins now for less than 1 we paid for. even OV upgrade at that ..and still collected $370 in OBC to date...ES was great for us so far....:D

I am not ES, but I was hoping to upsell myself. I am in an inside, but would do a balcony if the price was right. Alas, still not where I want it to be. I must have gotten a great deal last year, because its about $120 more PP than we ended up paying last year, for the same ship, slightly different itinerary, one week earlier.

This sale is not even much of a deal for my sailing. The price is now is mroe than what it has been. I am kicking myself for not booking ES. I would have had about $300 in OBC.

Wow that is fast and Incrediable! I sent my request in shortly after midnight and haven't heard back. They said they were processing them in the order received in the email. Just goes to show that they say one thing but do another.

Congratulations! That's a large OBC. Hopefully we will hear soon about our additional $120 OBC.

And you can use OBC for shore excursions. But you have to wait to book them until you are onboard. Can't use onboard credit until you ARE onboard.

Call back again. I booked easy saver and was able to go from an inside cabin to a balcony at no extra cost. I was told I couldn't get an OBC but the upgrade was great. I have already made my final payment too! Good Luck!!

That is awesome! Just wondering how one gets so much OBC or such huge price drops?

I booked ES. However, my cabin category has been sold out for weeks now. Some one on here said I could still get credit. Don't understand how?? Do I call Carnival and ask?? Just curious!! Cannot do a 'mock' booking since cabin category does not show up....

Went from the military rate(which is gone) to spring into savings(which is gone) and saved $40.00. Now switched to the friends & family rate and saved almost another $150.00. It seems that everyone needs to keep checking the price to take advantage of all the changes as they are being made available.

I'm wondering how some receive such big $$$, too. Through the past guest/ friends family sale we received $60 price drop, but that's only $30 per person - not anywhere near what others are commenting they are getting. On one hand I'm pleased for the decrease, but I'm also kind of disappointed when others are posting triple that!

I'm guessing it has to do with cabin category? There's still 4 cabins left in my category so I was hoping for much more than $60 savings. We still have about two months until final payment - maybe there will be additional drops?

I'm on hold with Carnival to ask about my sailing. I booked the more the merrier option and I'm paid in full. Does anyone know if I would get a credit? It would only be $20 but that's better than nothing and I could still be upgraded if it lets me. Any help?!
