lovetotravel24 Posted June 14, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2005 We are leaving on our cruise soon. We are coming in one day early to stay in Miami before the cruise. We are looking for a inexpensive hotel around $60-70, and preferable if they had complementary shutttle service from airport and to the Port of Miami.:o Any suggestions would be helpful:)
hdawson Posted June 14, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2005 I would definitely suggest Priceline. I've had the Hyatt downtown, Doubletree and Renasance Hotels. All first class propertys. I got the Hyatt for $55 I think but have a friend that got it for as little as $27. Excellent hotel and near the people mover that will take you to within two blocks of Bayside Marketplace. No shuttle service at most of the hotels. Bid "downtown" and three "stars" and you won't be disappointed. I would start bidding at $40. My Hyatt room was on the 19th floor with a balcony overlooking the city and Biscayne Bay. Couldn't have been nicer.

It's one of Priceline's 4* hotels. If you are unfamiliar with Priceline, go to http://www.biddingfortravel.com for advice on how to bid.

hdawson Posted June 14, 2005 #6 Share Posted June 14, 2005 Personally, I don't care for airport hotels usually. Much prefer the upscale properties with tourist facilities in the area such as Bayside. http://baysidemarketplace.com/ or http://www.gmcvb.com/bayside_marketplace.asp?source=paid
