Hawaii 15 day cruise

Fantastic experience. Rough seas are often the norm the first day or two, maybe more. We leave on our 7th R/T Hawaii tomorrow. :D

There are better ways to see Hawaii, but no better way to get there.

Aloha!

We sailed aboard the Spirit a year ago to Hawaii and it was the BEST cruise/vacation EVER! It was a little cold and windy the first few days out of San Diego, but it sure turned out nice after that. We met some very nice people, enjoyed the islands tremendously and loved every aspect of the cruise.

We are planning to do another 15-dayer to Hawaii in the coming years. We highly rcommend it! Like the previous viewer stated, there are better ways to see Hawaii, but if you love to cruise...then you can't go wrong!

We did this on the Splendor in Jan/Feb., before it switched with the Miracle. I do not know what time of year you are looking at, but for the whole 15 days, we only had ONE sunny day.

The other fourteen were chilly, rainy, yucky. Make sure you bring warm clothing if going in the winter. Never once was in a bathing suit.

The cruise itself was fabulous. Met a lot of great people and this is a great way to see the Islands.

Susie8862 had really bad luck

Even if the weather isn't great during the crossing, chilly, rainy and yucky would be very unusual for Hawaii. The average high temp in February in the islands is in the high 70's to 80.

We leave today on the Century from San Diego, too excited to sleep :D

If this thread is still going we'll do a live update on our weather experience sometime while we're there.

Aloha!

You are right, A cruise is what you make of it! We had the weather from hell for an Alaska cruise. It was the last one of the season, the captain said there were 5 separate storms while we were in Alaskan waters. We still had a great time :D

Aloha!
