iloverags2 Posted April 14, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2013 This cruise was mainly just to get away for a few days to relax and rest so we did not do many activities. In addition we ate all our meals in the buffet (except for our first night's dinner, when we ordered room service). Instead I will just post a few pictures from around the ship. Oh, and Princess Patters can be found here. Enjoy! Let's start off with the atrium... iloverags2 Posted April 14, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted April 14, 2013 Let's get the stateroom tour out of the way next. I will say we were pleasantly surprised with the size of our inside stateroom. As you can see from my signature, we are Disney Cruise lovers so we are used to larger staterooms and cabin baths, but we really loved the layout of our Ruby Princess stateroom, and with the exception of the incredibly tiny shower we had no issues at all with it! Our bed turned down for the night The desk area, which we utilized often during the course of our cruise Stateroom hallway My absolute favorite part of our stateroom - the very roomy walk-in closet area (five suitcases worth of "stuff" fit here with room to spare)! The dreaded teensy shower Plenty of shelf space near the sink
iloverags2 Posted April 14, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted April 14, 2013 Dining areas up next Michaelangelo Dining Room (please note this was taken when I went down to check out a sale...that I walked away from empty-handed, the horrors!) Da Vinci Dining Room Cafe Caribe seating (we switched back and forth between here and Horizon Court) Horizon Court seating Afternoon tea delivered to our stateroom (my favorites were the scones and jam, and the strawberry bread)
iloverags2 Posted April 14, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted April 14, 2013 We barely utilized the pools, but I did enjoy the Lotus Spa pool and hot tubs twice during the week. Lotus Spa pool Neptune's Reef Aft pool Adult pool games at Neptune's Reef Sadly I did not get a daytime shot of the Calypso Reef pool. :(
iloverags2 Posted April 14, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted April 14, 2013 A little bit of nightlife. We enjoyed Explorers Lounge one evening for about 30 minutes, and I did go to an event in Club Fusion. Oh, I also had a drink up in Skywalkers one late afternoon. iloverags2 Posted April 14, 2013 Author #8 Share Posted April 14, 2013 I should have included this in the atrium photos. From the first formal night, the infamous Champagne Waterfall. iloverags2 Posted April 14, 2013 Author #9 Share Posted April 14, 2013 (edited) And some lovely shots of the Ruby Princess while in port. We had a switch of ports, and ended up in Nassau first The best I did in St. Maarten (Ruby Princess is behind Thomson Dream and in front of Celebrity Equinox...a Ruby sandwich!) Here she is in St. Thomas... And of course at Princess Cays Edited April 14, 2013 by iloverags2 typo

Matcodixon Posted April 14, 2013 #15 Share Posted April 14, 2013 Excellent photos. We loved the Ruby when we were on her for our Grand Mediterranean cruise last summer! We were upgraded to a Mini Suite and it was fantastic! BTW the Bathroom was quite a bit larger with a bathtub / shower that was quick roomy. The uncovered balcony was not a problem at all as we spent some nice nights under the stars.
