Celebrity for Kindergarteners???

JPF, I'm sorry you saw my original post being rude. What I typed was a reaction to your post. The OP had asked very specific questions with regard to the kids club. Your post came off as telling the OP to try a different cruise line. Even though you could not give experiences as to what you had experienced with your youngster on X.

 

I found it rude of you to not only answer the OP's question, but to try to brush them off to another cruise line.

 

I was wrong to start my post off that way and should have left it up to the OP to take what they wanted from this thread.

 

Being a long time poster, I have seen many X snobs who try to push others over to other lines or get upset at an OP for having the nerve to ask a simple question. Your post felt like one of those snobs. You know what they say when you assume. I assumed and played the part of the first 1/2 of that word.

I just wanted to follow-up with our 1st experience on celebrity as a family. My husband and I are mid-30s and DD is 5yo as originally mentioned in this thread. We've cruised 10+ times with NCL, HAL, and RCCL.

 

We sailed the Summit June 9th and had a fantastic time. The service was top notch. We prefer a laid-back approach to cruising, but when we wanted to find fun, we always found it. We enjoyed the shows, the casino, the martini bar!

 

In regards to the original post, DD enjoyed the vacation as much as we did. The fun factory had some great activities, both for just the kids and the families. The kids enjoyed a pirate treasure hunt, dino egg hunt, scavenger hunts, and tons of games and activities. Through out the week she came back dressed up as a princess, a pirate, a dinosaur, and a super hero. We participated in family bingo, family Zumba, family disco, and family DJ scratch lessons. My daughter loved it so much, we had to drag her out each night.

 

It was an overall wonderful experience for both us and her, and we will defiantely be sailing celebrity again. Thanks to everyone who provided feedback here.
