Gold Crown and Anchor

Recommended Posts

Does anyone remember what coupons are in the gold crown and anchor book now? It has been a year since we sailed and was just curious if they have changed the coupons at all.

Thanks!

lets see what i can remember from last month....

free johnny rockets, $5 off internet , $2 when you put up $10 for slots, another $5 casino, buy one get one free drink coupon, a free 5x7 picture of the ship with any photo purchase, 5% of logo merchandise in the store ( those are the ones i used.)

There was also one for the spa, a wine tasting that i didn't use .. may have been more but the brain is a bit foggy

Thanks. It sounds pretty much like the same as last year. I was hoping for something better. Several years ago, for instance, we had a coupon for buy one get one free 8x10 pictures. Now you just get a picture of the ship. Oh well, the cruise will be great no matter what coupons we get!

doolange: just make sure your C&A number is included with your booking info, and they give you the stuff when you're on board. If it doesn't show up in your stateroom within the first day or two, then go to the Loyalty Ambassador and let him/her know. They will take care of you.

There's a repeat cruisers cocktail party, also, during your cruise.

If you book a future cruise while on board another one, you get a shipboard credit for the future cruise. You can transfer the bookig to your TA after you get home.

You'll also get a newsletter that includes coupons for discounts per cabin on selected cruises. These are accepted up until final payment.

After 5 cruises completed you move up to Platinum, and after 10 completed to Diamond. Then, after 24 you go to Diamond Plus.

You actually don't have to put up the $10. Just give them the coupon and you will get $2

you are absolutely correct and if i had just walked away with the $2 the i could have been a winner -- instead .......

My DH and I each get our own coupon booklet on every cruise. Also, each C&A member has their own number.

We are Diamond level members, but I thought the onboard booklets were the same, except for the amount of the discounts, for all the levels???? Do they not give one to each member at the Gold level?

You only get one coupon booklet per cabin even though both of you have different C&A numbers.
This is incorrect. Each C&A member gets a coupon book.
After 5 cruises completed you move up to Platinum, and after 10 completed to Diamond. Then, after 24 you go to Diamond Plus.
You don't necessarily have to complete 5/10/24 cruises but obtain that many cruise credits. JS or above earns an extra credit and 12 nights or longer earns an extra credit.

We will be Platinum after our upcoming 2nd cruise. (JS on our 1st 7-night cruise = 2 credits; JS on upcoming 12-night cruisetour = 3 credits). :D

I'm chiming in to say that we have always gotten our own separate coupon books - it is one coupon book for each C & A member.

Now I have a question for everyone: has anyone ever taken previous, unused coupons back on board on a later cruise and been able to use them? I know that they have printed on them that they are only good for the current cruise, but are they coded somehow or do they really change in appearance all that often?

Has anyone ever successfully done this?

Carol
