Dress code for breakfast and lunch

Hi

 

New to celebrity and I would like to know if a t-shirt with shorts would be OK in the MDR for breakfast. That is what I would usually wear on a sea or port day in a warm climate, seems odd to have to change for breakfast.

 

Also is it the same for Blu, and the MDR at lunch.

buffet style As long as you got footwear on, shorts and a tee. I am sure the same if the other places are opened. no towels wrapped around your waste, and on your shoulders....

All breakfast venues allow shorts and T-shirts, flip flops and so on. As many folks go right from breakfast to a port excursion, they will be pretty much wearing what they will wear on their excursions.

 

Woman in bathing suits must wear cover-ups. Men cannot be bare-chested. I think pajammas would be frowned on. I haven't seen them on Celebrity, but I have seen them on Royal Caribbean in the Windjammer.

I agree with the pp and will add, no hats, even for females . I went to the dining room for lunch one day after being by the pool with a cap on, and was asked to remove it. My hair wasn't pretty, but I obliged.

Just a note, Blu is not open for lunch. It is open for breakfast and dinner only. In the AM, only Aqua class and Suite guests are allowed to dine there.

When it opens for dinner, it is the dining room for Aqua class passengers only, and suite guests on availability.

Unfortunately we saw PJ’s being worn at the waffle station when we were on the Constellation.

PPl will wear Pjs in dead winter on the streets,, to me its just as bad as wearing Spandex .
