magandab Posted April 29, 2013 #3 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Yes of course it is available in Cabins. The selection is different according to Category. A tip is also suggested. Brian The room service menu is the same, no matter what category of cabin you have. A tip is never required, but most of us give anywhere from $2 on up, depending on what is served. But, be ready to hand it to the room service steward, as they do not wait around for it; they are in and out in a flash.

Krazy Kruizers Posted April 30, 2013 #7 Share Posted April 30, 2013 You can also order dinner. Just stop by the dining room to see the menu -- usually posted around Noon. Or stop by any bar/lounge in the afternoon. You can place your order for in-cabin service either 1/2 - 1 hour after the main dining room opens for dinner. It varies by ship, so you need to ask what the rules are on your ship. You can order anything from the dinner menu to have in your cabin -- everything will be delivered at once. catl331 Posted April 30, 2013 #8 Share Posted April 30, 2013 The reason the room service waiter leaves so quickly is, especially at breakfast, they have a whole cart of orders to get asap to the rooms. Tipping is not required but recommend as a nice gesture.:)

IRL_Joanie Posted April 30, 2013 #11 Share Posted April 30, 2013 Yes of course it is available in Cabins. The selection is different according to Category. A tip is also suggested. Brian Brian the selection for Room Service is exactly the same 24/7 aboard each and every HAL Ship. And it is FREE for every category stateroom so the only thing it might cost you is a couple of dollars for a tip, if you tip:) And that is not a mandatory thing:) Joanie

anandaindonesia Posted May 1, 2013 #13 Share Posted May 1, 2013 I can't see it on the menu, but can I asked for peanut butter for room service breakfast? I hope so.
Rare Crew News Posted May 1, 2013 #14 Share Posted May 1, 2013 Yes, you can write in peanut butter somewhere on the tag. You should also write-in "glass" somewhere on the tag unless you want to drink milk out of a carton. Write-in "ketchup" somewhere on the tag if you like it for your scrambled eggs. Write-in "chocolate croissants" somewhere on the tag. Here is a scan of the actual Room Service Breakfast tag that you hang on your door before going to bed. The square at the top is the hole that fits over your door knob. You place the quantity you want of each item to the left of each menu item. There is no limit to the quantity especially for bacon lovers. http://www.rogerjett-photography.com/here/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Room-Service-Breakfast.pdf

Krazy Kruizers Posted May 2, 2013 #23 Share Posted May 2, 2013 I've asked for peanut butter. Usually I get it but I've been told sometimes it's not available. That is strange. They don't put it out in the Lido any more because some children may pick it up accidently who are allergic to it. You have to ask for it there.
