Celebrity Bus Transfer

Anyone used this to get to Harwich? Seems very pricey at £115 each from Newcastle. Thomsons were half this price!

We've used National Express Shuttle to get to Southampton and I think they go to Harwich. We've used them twice and it was fine. There was no way we would pay the price for the cruiseline shuttle.

Check out the buses and/or trains. They will always be less expensive than what is offered by X. That being said, the transfer from Celebrity brings you right to the ship while the buses/trains won't and may require a taxi ride the rest of the way.

 

National Rail may also work for you.

Anything 'Cruise line' involves a 'Premium'....alternatives (and often just as good) are inevitably cheaper....a bit like shore excursions etc.

thanks, national express don't go there but going to price up trains, might have to drive!

We are booked on the Infinity for the Norwegian Fjords 8/16 sailing.

We are flying into Heathrow a day early and out a day after returning.

Our plan is to stay at a hotel near Heathrow and in both instances taking

the Hoppa Transfer Bus between the airport and the hotel. Price is 4 GPS one way and 7 GPS round trip, per person.

 

To get to and from Harwich, we are considering using the Harwich Cruise

Ship Shuttle Service which will pick us up and drop us off at the hotel to

and from the Harwich Cruise Terminal. They do not pick up from the Airport but do drop off there on the return trip. Price is 54 GPS each way per person. It appears that the shuttle will pick us up from the hotel fairly early which would probably eliminate using it on the same day that you arrive at Heathrow.

 

We are not planning any activities in England on this trip.
