sailingnut Posted May 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2013 I see the Dawn has to tender in Bermuda on the webcam and Explorer of the Seas is docked! I sure hope Bermuda is ready for Wednesday for the Breakaway!:)
Seanote Posted May 13, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2013 Maybe. Maybe not. Workers ‘going the extra mile’ to get Heritage Wharf ready http://www.royalgazette.com/article/20130513/NEWS04/705139947
Don Haynes Posted May 13, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2013 Bermuda is no different than anywhere else. Weather can delay construction. While the construction may not be fully finished, it does appear the Breakaway will dock at Heritage Wharf thanks to a lot of folks working deep into the night to make it happen. Rare Laszlo Posted May 13, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 13, 2013 Don't forget the Summit will be there also, if nothing else its cutting into NCL's bottom line. Extra fuel to run their ferries and extra fuel to run the engine to hold the ship in place
laurenpattycakes Posted May 13, 2013 #5 Share Posted May 13, 2013 I was wondering the same thing this weekend! I'm sure NCL will work something out. always do :)

DMLyons Posted May 16, 2013 #7 Share Posted May 16, 2013 The pier is ready, Breakaway is tied up now. No and yes. The equipment is cleared, and Breakaway is there right now, but there are still finishing touches that need made to it, when they can do them without disturbing NCL guests in the process. It's functional right now, but they have to squeeze in a little more work later. They just didn't want to miss the deadline they promised NCL. camz Posted May 16, 2013 #8 Share Posted May 16, 2013 I would like to add, The Breakaway looks very beautiful docked in Bermuda. She looks quite at home there. :D
bob brown Posted May 16, 2013 #9 Share Posted May 16, 2013 Too bad the Summit doesn't have an aft webcam. Would provide a nice bow shot of the Breakaway, to supplement the Harborcam side view... The Breakaway provides a nice aft view of the Summit. http://167.118.191.8/shipcams/bawaycam/fullsize.jpg http://portbermudawebcam.com/ Yesterday, the harborcam panned back and forth, giving a full view of the Breakaway. They do have an archive, showing the maiden arrival of her.
