Port 11 Posted May 16, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 16, 2013 Apparentlly Regent have just announced they are cancelling 20 cruises in the Med for 2014 due to weak demand! I see their prices going up and up, Do you think they have out priced themselves? or is the Med just over, exposed even with Carnival pulling out? Interesting. forevertravel Posted May 17, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 17, 2013 I believe the cut back is due to new itineraries. Regent only has three ships and only Mariner and Voyager are used in Europe and Asia. They may try the new itineraries in 2014 and see how it goes. I'm glad to see the new itineraries since we were running out of places to cruise in Europe. To me, this is a new and pleasant change. We are excited Regent will be in French Polynesia and plan to book this cruise.
