richleeds Posted January 17, 2015 #101 Share Posted January 17, 2015 But it's the slender ones like us who use the stairs???? Indeed. We do take the stairs say up to around 5 floors up/down. But if we are coming back onboard from a day out and want to head straight to the buffet then probably 14 flights would beat us - or we would have certainly worked up an appetite if we attempted it! Similarly after the theatre and drinks in there and at dinner it might not be advisable taking the stairs up 8 or so levels to the crows nest bar! But what does get right on my hits are those who take the lift 1 level! - Not including of course those who have mobility issues.
Mysticalmother Posted January 17, 2015 #102 Share Posted January 17, 2015 Agree your last sentence in particular. Usually do up to 5 - 6 floors on the stairs....but current knee problem may prevent that this year. I see using the stairs as part of my excercise regime on board! I wish I was slender though.....fattie I am not, but slim I have never been!😁
