anniegb Posted June 10, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2013 Hi all I thought I would post this. I received 2 emails today from allegedly Credit Cards at MSC requesting payment for an alleged cruise Oct 2013 booking for 2 people. Now I travel solo and I have no cruises booked for October 2013. I off course did not make payment and have forwarded the emails to London for comment. Any comment apart from maybe it is a scam?? Annie

AmoMondo Posted June 10, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 10, 2013 Could also be an admin error. Someone else making a genuine phone booking but instead of using their email address, they used yours. They may have a similar email address.

AmoMondo Posted June 12, 2013 #6 Share Posted June 12, 2013 Hi AmoMondo MSC have stated it is an admin error. They also state they do not know how it could have happened :) Annie I'm guessing that it was the same sales agent that had emailed you in the past and that the other customer's email a dress started with the same initials. You know how outlook "remembers" previous email addresses you've used and tries to be helpful by coming up with that none again, when you start typing a few letters that it's starts with. Either that or they are complete klutzes. The jury is still out.........

The email originated in Italy?? :) Annie BTW I still like MSC
