So with all the price drops I read about on these boards. Do any of you ever feel like maybe you over paid to began with?

I never seem to get price drop's 13 cruises and counting

Never. If I felt like I was overpaying I wouldn't have booked that particular cruise and would have shopped for a better option. I saw the price as acceptable and consider any price drops after as icing on the cake.

We check every week up to final payment ..

Same here. We have a price range that we book in and I monitor prices year round. I'm pretty confident that we're getting a good price when I book. If the price drops, even better.
