I think it would be nice to have a compilation of atrium photos for us all to peruse :) Please indicate the ship name and if the photo has been -enhanced- ;) Let's see if this thread will sink or swim!

I don't know if it is against forum rules to snag other pictures by other photographers for a thread?

I'm not sure what you are saying but I just meant for your own interest. I wasn't suggesting tha you post them here.

VallyD in response to your question here I attach a couple of photos of the Oosterdam Atrium. In response to your other post - the Oosterdam's Atrium was certainly more intimate than grand but when we booked we knew this, my DH and I were after a more sea going experience, ie the promenade deck and HAL certainly supplied this. Orientation was easy using the stairs bow, mid or stern but I must admit the Atrium, from my point of view, was not a good orientation point. DH and I loved the intimate feel of the ship and the fact you could see the sea from most relaxation areas.

Are you looking to see the view up (sculptures hanging from the ceiling) or the view down?

I have Atrium Photos from all of the HAL ships, both HAL Stock and fellow CC members that can be seen first by clicking here: http://abqreunion2008.com/ Then by Clicking on either the photo of each ship or the Name of each ship, then going to the bottom of each ship's Index page, then clicking on the link where it says Miscellaneous Photos From (the name of the ship) and then click on Atrium.

I didn't notice this thread, and posted these direct links on VallyD's other thread on this same subject about 6 minutes after you posted here! :D

p.s. - Joanie - just today I sent you three pictures from the Prinsendam including a better Atrium picture than you have. My "carbon copy" of that email bounced back as "attachments too large", so if you don't get it in a day or two please let me know and I'll send lower-res versions.
