Cruise personaliser useless information

I am going on a 12 night Canaries in July.

I happen to know from researching the P&O website that we will have 8 casual and 4 formal nights.

But my Cruise Personaliser tells me

*

"Evening Casual

..........

On a typical 14-night cruise on*Ventura there are normally ten Evening Casual nights. This can include a 60s, 70s and or tropical evening on appropriate itineraries.

*

Black Tie

...........

As a rule, there is normally one formal black and white night per cruise."

Somewhat less than useless. Could i expect some advice from P&O nearer the time confirming that i could expect 8 casual nights and 4 formal nights of which 1 will be B&W?

Not particularly difficult to, er, personalise the info in the cruise personaliser.

Another thing.

Cruise Personaliser tells me i willbe embarking at Berth 46/47 Ocean Terminal.

Am i missing something or do i need a gate no? Am i right in thinking that the berth no and name of terminal is useless?

I expect i can google the answer off the Southampton Docks website but i really shouldn't have to do this.

If cruise departs on 27th July there will be 4 formal nights and 8 casual shown in cruise itinerary details within your account. There is only one terminal at Ocean terminal just follow the signs as you enter Southampton. I think it is dock gate 4.

Hope this helps

Unless you know where berth 46/47 is you do need them as once you get on the dock road the signs show you to the gate.

Ocean and QEII terminals are the furthest along the dock road, the road is tricky at this end as its also where the IOW ferry departs. so knowing the gate number is a good idea.
