Cruizinman Posted July 11, 2013 #52 Share Posted July 11, 2013 I am giving you the "word" that I have received from a reliable source. That is a fact and most of these facts will turn out to be true indeed. End of story You keep repeating this reliable source  over and over in you postings . Is there a reasoning behind this ?
Tantra1 Posted July 11, 2013 #53 Share Posted July 11, 2013 If there isn't a Cloud 9 Spa with a Thallaso pool, steam rooms, etc. like on the Dream then we won't be interested. Cheers!

Mikel1733 Posted July 11, 2013 #56 Share Posted July 11, 2013 Without making this another argument, I would just like to say that I am a very happy and positive person. I don't appreciate comments on My thread like... "I heard something that may or may not be true. And I heard it from a reliable source. What do you think?" You seriously need to ask that??? I can't stop laughing. Someone's really yanking your chain." Why comment if one is going to be negative? I am just stating the facts that I have received. Thank you and have a great day. Try not to let it bother you, some folks get off putting folks down.
EZ4 Posted July 11, 2013 #57 Share Posted July 11, 2013 This OP is known to float a dozen different theories, and then when the event happens, he comes running back with the one that was closest, saying "see, I told you you so". Our guess is as good as his. :p

S.S.Oceanlover Posted July 11, 2013 #61 Share Posted July 11, 2013 I think it all depends the time you go. We went in an off month (January) and we never encountered any lines whatsoever. You seem to have skimmed right over post #35 without answering the posters question. Bill

Bill LOL, this is the OP's thread....only answer questions they want to and dislike the opinions that disagree. :p Even though they did say: any thoughts? Guess the only thoughts allowed are those that agree
cruzn buckeye Posted July 11, 2013 #63 Share Posted July 11, 2013 Personally I prefer the smaller ships even though they probably will be able to give better deals with bigger ones. I always hate embarkation day and with twice as many people getting off going thru customs and fighting for taxi cabs I see long lines and short tempers. But from a business point of view I guess it makes sense. I totally agree with you. And as far as my opinion asked by the original poster on this ship.... NO THANKS!!! When all the ships become enormous and they get rid of the mid and smaller ships, I am done.
ready2cruzagain Posted July 11, 2013 #64 Share Posted July 11, 2013 Sorry but what happen to all those "new" ports and itineraries that your source confirmed? This was my very first thought when I read the OP thread. I am still waiting for the "new" ports and itineraries. As far as the new ship design goes, hopefully it is not a larger ship. I was on the Breeze for 14 days and yes there were lines and yes it did feel crowded at times compared to the smaller ships. The lido deck was very congested with a feeling of everything being crammed in. I prefer to relax in a lounger by the pool. Not a lot of loungers by the pool on the lido deck on the Breeze. Sure you can go upstairs and walk down the hallway or go to deck 5 and find lots of loungers...problem is...they are not by the pool! I think I would rather wait for the "official" statement from Carnival.

We can only cruise during school vacations - hence an always crowded ship!:D
CarnivalBreeze319 Posted July 11, 2013 Author #66 Share Posted July 11, 2013 Sorry but what happen to all those "new" ports and itineraries that your source confirmed? Sorry I missed your question. There are new itineraries with different ships already posted. The Legend will also be offering a unique itinerary. There will be details on a new port released in a few weeks/months. EZ4 Posted July 11, 2013 #67 Share Posted July 11, 2013 There will be some announcements of "brilliant" changes in the next few weeks/months/years/decades/generations. Stay tuned. It's a magical time to be watching Carnival. ;)
Sargent_Schultz Posted July 11, 2013 #68 Share Posted July 11, 2013 This was my very first thought when I read the OP thread. I am still waiting for the "new" ports and itineraries. There was, and perhaps still is, scuttlebutt about new ports at Rocky Point and Calica. That the major cruise lines are anxious to crack the Chinese cruise market is perhaps the worst kept secret. Also the 2016 ship will be larger then the breeze according to the official statement from Carnival. Edited July 11, 2013 by kybluecruiser

cbMcruiser Posted July 11, 2013 #75 Share Posted July 11, 2013 For those of you who have not heard yet, there has been some information unofficially released on Carnival's new 2016 ship. Here we go... 1. There will be no large Atrium - only 3 decks stopping at deck 5: 2. Deck 4 will have the Casino from the existing conference room to the Blush Dining Room as exists on Breeze; 3. Ship will be approximately 21 feet longer at bow and 30 feet at aft; 4. It will be the same width as the Dream Class; 5. There will be 3 pools (with a 1/2 in 1/2 out pool where the current Limelight Lounge is on the Breeze); 6. More cabins with a capacity of 5,100 persons (an increase of 400 persons from existing Breeze); 7. Cabins will be in existing empty space above deck 5 of Breeze Atrium; 8. Deck 5 will have a number of "specialty" restaurants (paid) with a variety of themes; 9. There will be a "Crew Serenity" area at bow of ship with same style chairs, hammocks etc. (no spa) like the existing Serenity areas on board Carnival ships; 10. It will be around 5,000 tons heavier than existing Dream Class (130,000) and will most likely be called Carnival Sunrise, Carnival Vista, or Carnival Splash, most likely Sunrise! All of these are rumors that I have heard. Much of this will probably be true (reliable source) but some of it may not be true. Your thoughts? Mega ships don't really interest us. We like the ±3000 passenger varieties.
